My training

As part of my professional requirement, I need to regularly engage in Continuous Professional Development (CPD). I use this not only to maintain up to date with all safeguarding and best mental health practices, but also to develop my understanding of the issues brought into my practice and business. 
Every few years, I get to invest in more in depth training.
2025- Ten Directions Certificate in Ecotherapy (Tariki Trust), this is the first year of a diploma course which I hope to complete next year.
For my background and higher education training:
2021- Post Grad Diploma in Online Counselling and Psychotherapy- Level 7 (Academy for Counselling and Psychotherapy, now closed)
2015- Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision- Level 7 (University of Derby)
2009- MA in Art Therapy- Level 7 (University of Derby)
2005- BA (Hons) in Creative Expressive Therapies (now called Creative Expressive Arts, Health and Wellbeing)  - Level 6 (University of Derby)

Languages, English and Portuguese

​I am originally from Portugal, Lisbon, though I have lived in England for over 25 years; firstly, in Eastbourne and Brighton and now in Derby. I can offer both Therapy and Supervision in either Portuguese or English.
